Mr. Lavin has served as the CEO and President of Pioneer Industries International since 2010 and has helped oversee the transformation of Pioneer into an industry leader in the recycling arena. Prior to Pioneer, Mr. Lavin served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Fiber of WM Recycle America LLC., where he was responsible for all of Recycle America's domestic and international fiber and non-fiber sales. From 1981 to 2001 Mr. Lavin was with The Peltz Group, one of the nation’s largest privately held recycling companies, where he rose to the position of Executive Vice President. Prior to joining The Peltz Group, he was the Vice President of Purchasing for Bell Fiber. He has amassed over 35 years of recycling-industry experience. He attended Lewis University in Lockport Illinois.
