Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of the plant building and equipment to ensure that all equipment is in working order. The ability to recognize and diagnose problems and issues with equipment is essential. A qualified candidate must also possess an understanding of electricity and hydraulics.
The hours are working Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 4:00pm, flexible to stay later when needed.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Wiring and electric repairs up to 480V
Plant machinery and trailer maintenance repair
Building and grounds maintenance
Baler repair
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, stand and climb
Forklift/skid steer/loader maintenance repair
Troubleshoot motor starters, proximity switches and relays
Adhere to our employee handbook and company safety policies
Required Skills/Abilities:
Mechanical diagnostics and repair
Electrical diagnostics and repair
Hydraulic diagnostics and repair
Knowledge of AC/DC electrical current
Highly self-motivated and disciplined
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimum supervision
Ability to schedule projects//repairs and adapt to changing conditions
Must be able to work flexible hours
Valid driver’s license
Education and Experience
A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred 2 year certification from Technical college/education
